Bring your A game.
Front 9 was tighter than the Back 9. Not a place to get loose with the driver on the front. I imagine the name Iron Masters comes from the fact that you need to be hitting your irons well to score here!
Course is a good example of PA mountain golf. Decent value for the money. WOuld not go out of my way to play, but would stop by if I was in the area and wanted to play a round of golf
Lives Up To Its Name
A challenging course with lots of tree-lined fairways and elevation changes. The course is well maintained with some of the fastest greens in the area. Accurate drives and approach shots are critical to a good score. If you're in the area; this is a must play course.
worth the trip
We played on a Saturday the course was busy but the pace of play was fine. Enjoyed a nice breakfast before hand in the restaurant that overlooks the course. Thje track was well manicured and there were no real surprises being that it was our first visit. There is a bunker the whole way across the front of the green on 6. Hole 11 had a pond guarding the green. Had some issues with the ball bouncing when it hit the greens, but its a fun track and we will be returining
