The course's designer, Hal Purdy, re-interpreted the holes to fit with the stunning mountain landscape provided by the nearby Pocono Mountains. In addition to providing a variety of natural hazards, there is endless scenery available thanks to the babbling streams, lush green meadows, and of course, the mountains. Characterized by blind holes and long-distance drives, the golf course demands accuracy in order to successfully maneuver the dramatic elevation changes.
