Great service and game play
Course has a new program implemented on the greens using an optional 8 inch cup endorsed by jack Nicklaus. They still maintain the 4 inch holes but the 8 inch holes offer a new dimension to the game not found on any other course that I know. I had a jumbo hot dog while in the club house it was very tasty with fresh condiments. One of the best things at the course is the other players. They are very friendly and have no problem striking up a conversation.
Early sunner
Tee boxes were deeper that the rough. Buy a lawn mower
Not great
Maybe it was just late in the season but this course was not even close to being worth paying for.
Fair Course, Good for beginners
The course is fairly short (par 66) but pretty hilly, greens were patchy, fairways had more weeds than grass, but were still kept decently
I'd recommend for a quick round or for beginners.
Pace of play should be managed better. I was stuck behind a slow group that didn't even give me a thought of playing through. I played 8 holes faster than their 3 holes; and this was supposedly a regular player at the course.
Easy beginner course
Course is definitely good for beginners. Very short course, par 4s of two or three hundred yards. A few blind holes.
Course is only 9 holes long. If you buy 18 holes, you do the course twice
Good for first time golfer
The course was in bad shape. The only reason I went there was to take a friend who had never golfed
Poor course
We would never golf here again. Can't believe it's considered a golf course.
Leves a lot to be desired.
Holes 1 & 2 Closed -- told to play #9 twice ( using Par 4 and then Par 5 Tee boxes) and to pick another Hole to play. Not offered any discount from price paid or to cancel round. Course basically has no flat areas at all except for Greens. Tee boxes and fairways in terrible condition -- uneven, mowed without "cuts", "dandelion-strewn" etc. Not a pleasurable experience at all -- needed to go to local driving range after round to restore my faith in my swing.
Conditions declining... Needs work.
I've played there in the past and it was fairly nice, but this is the absolute worst that I've seen it. Flowers and weeds growing in the fairway and the rough was extremely high. Easy to lose balls that are just inches off of the fairway. It was also hard to see some shots in the fairway because of the flowers and weeds. The pace was quick because there weren't many players. With a lot of TLC, it could be a nice course again.
Needs Work
I can live with the first two holes being shut down after all of the rain that we've had recently. But it looks like the course hasn't been touched by a mower or weed n' feed this year. The fairway grass was bushy and most of the rough was laced with dandelions that have gone to seed (making ball retrieval pretty tough.
All that I can say is that it met my purpose for the day in being able to get in a few swings. No more.
Friendly staff, course needs a lot of work
The staff is very nice! The course needs a lot of work. You get what you pay for on this course. Great course for a beginner golfer.
absolute worst course ever, should be condemned and shut down.
absolute worst course ever. should be condemned and shut down.
Poor Value
The course is 9 holes repeating. Not the most challenging but fun to play and reasonably maintained. Overall though, not worth the price as there are a multitude of great courses to play in the area at this price that are all much nicer.
Fun little course
We were unaware when we booked the tee-time that this was a 9 hole course (so we played it twice). We made the best of it, and had a really enjoyable round of golf! The course is fun and challenging.
Nice course, cheap, busy
Overall, the course is adequate in terms of maintenance. It's a short course (par 3, par 4) and a little strange to be changing elevation as much as it does (very mountainous). You should know that it only has 9 holes (for 18, you play the 9 twice). When I went, it was quite busy, but people were friendly about letting me play through. Overall, I think its a great value course (only paid $19); I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice experience.
Only a 9 hole course very very short, NOT 18 HOLES!
only good part was the fact no one was there and pace was fast. ended up playing a real course later in the day. The course was compacted and every hole on the 9 hole course was driveable. It says 18 tees but in reality you play the same holes twice so i guess you can say 36 tees just play the 9 hole course 4 times. Not worth the drive, time, or money to play. Can find 10x better course for the price. If you like a short course, only 9 holes, play the same holes over again this course is definitely for you. If you like a challenge, a real course with 18 different holes this course is not for you. Won't be going back again, but ended up being a live and learn experience.
