Pine Grove Golf Course

The fairways are in fair shape, the greens are not well maintained. This course is on our " don't play again list"

with weather being dry fairways were hard but expected the greens were outstanding. the ball rolled true better than courses costing much more.

Have played this course several times and always enjoy the 18 hole round. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The course was in great condition.

The course was surprisingly good considering the time of year. Not very long or especially challenging but that's not a bad thing for the average hacker. One negative note - it was late in the year but if the course is open, the course should be really open. No one in the clubhouse to greet golfers, take money, etc. There were a lot of golfers out so it wasn't like we were the only ones there. Would have been nice to have a scorecard,especially since the signs at each hole were covered for the winter.

Course was in really good shape. First 3 holes are really challenging. Nice shorter course.

I enjoy this course. Although not very long there is plenty of trouble to get into and it offers several interesting challenges. The greens were slow because they had just aerified but they usually roll fast and true.

Terrific greens that rolled smooth and true. Well placed water hazards increase the challenge to an otherwise short course.

This 18 hole course is beautiful and not too long. There is a variety of challenges such as forced carry water hazards, trees and green side bunkers. Unfortunately, they have begun to fill in the green side bunkers taking a big challenge from the course. It is sad because this course was a favorite but now will decline in popularity because of the changes.

Cutting maintenance costs may improve the bottom line but revenue may decline faster due to lesser play.

I like this course. A western PA course is flat is a rare thing. So it is definitely something new.

The course is short, but their traps and water make you think about your club selection. Also, pin locations made the course a little more difficult too. For the price, you can't beat this course.

Course was well kept and challenging. The staff very friendly. Pace of play was average. The staff was very accommodative and we were able to get on the course earlier.

Great staff great course as lbs for the 8 inches of rain we've had in the last week the course was playable and maintained really well. Best course in mercer county dollar for dollar!

very little grass in fairways and rough, greens back nine very slow

The quality is much greater than the price. Take the time to go to Pine Grove. You won't regret the drive. A family run course off the beaten track with a wonderful back nine that will test every club in your bag.

I've played this course many times although I live 60 miles away. Layout is diverse and tests all aspects of your game. Always in good condition and they are still working on improving the course. Four holes with water in play. Wish I lived closer.

course was nice but wet in some places due to recent rain storm

I have been golfing Pine Grove CC for years. I feel it is a real value because of the care and maintenance that is put in the course. The greens are always in great shape and the fairways and tees are always well maintained. It is easy for a golf course to just collect the greens fees and do nothing more but this is not true for Pine Grove. Always a pleasure to return. Vic H. Slippery Rock, Pa.

The greens are in excellent condition. The course was a bit soggy since it had rained many inches the day before we played. Like the layout of the course. A must play.
