Course has challenges
This course has some challenge. Sand traps need some work. Fairways and greens are in good condition. I recommend this course to any level of golfer.
Where is everyone?
We arrived for our 9:15 tee time on a Tuesday morning and other than the guy in the clubhouse we were the only car in the parking lot. We played 9 holes before we saw one other golfer going off number one as we were finishing up the ninth hole. The course was in decent shape with some challenging holes, particularly the par 3's. I would have given it a higher rating if the greens had been a little faster. If they had been rolled and cut lower and they would have been pristine.
Very nice greens
This was a challenging course with very nice features, the par 5's challenge you every step of the way and there are 4 of them. The one par 3 is 200 yards which makes it long and is surrounded by sand traps. Overall I would play this course again and again for $25 for the full 18 and a cart that I got through this website. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape and was amazed how fast the greens played for early October.
Very nice layout,and receptive greens
Great course for the money, well maintained, and greens were in great shape.
Only negative, were bunkers, lot of them had bees, my son is allergic so tried to avoid them.
This course has beauty,, challenge and is very well groomed.
Most golf courses provide a serious challenge for this over-70 twosome, but the picturesque, well-groomed fairways, greens and even roughs helped us to both finish over-100 rounds with great satisfaction. It was a beautiful day weather-wise and a most enjoyable day for golf.
Great course to play. Awesome value ! I'll be back numerous time !
I only live 50 miles from this course and can't believe I haven't played it before. Challenging course with numerous doglegs , both left and right. Nice size greens and they were at a nice quicker speed. I found a couple of OLD big trees that I couldn't get over. I should have stayed in the fairways. Staff was very cordial. Played a little over 6300 from the whites . I can't wait to play it again.
Keeps you coming back
The Greenville CC challenges all players. The greens are nice. The course is a great value and is why we play there often.
used to be a great course
owner does not care about course maintenance. was a great course when it was a private club. has gone downhill severely. never pay full price here
Course was in good shape for all of the rain that came down over the past few weeks.
Greens were in good shape and rolled true. Lower part of course was wet (expected for the amount of rain) and upper part was in good shape.
Very playable and maintained beautifully.
There are a lot of subtle doglegs with a few sharp ones. Fairway bunkers that help define the holes. Very nice, smooth, and fast greens, yet still able to hold a good aproach shot. Very friendly staff that make the experiance that much better. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.
Very accomodating staff
This is an old course(Greenville Country Club) with a new name, The Greens of Greenville. The two pro shop employees were super nice and friendly. The course was well maintained with something for everyone- trees, sand and water.
The greens and fairways are well maintained and present a fair challenge. The fairways could be improved if a weed and feed program were instituted to combat the abundant clover. Overall, an enjoyable course that's easy to find.
