The Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort gets its name from the fact that it crosses over the Deschutes and Little Deschutes rivers several times during a round. The course, which plays to a par 72 of more than 7,600 yards, opened in 1995. It covers 600 scenic acres of woodlands and carefully preserved wetlands. Crosswater, one of three golf courses at the Sunriver Resort, was designated as a certified Audubon Sanctuary in 1999.
