With a location tucked behind scenic coastal mountains amongst the Kalmiopsis Wilderness, you would never guess Salmon Run Golf & Wilderness Club is just a few miles from downtown Brookings, Oregon. The 18-hole championship course is considered one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in Oregon. Nestled in the Chetco River Canyon, the layout winds along the path of the spawning Chinook. At just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, it's not long by modern standards but this tight golf course will challenge you in other ways. In addition to being accurate, you will also need to think carefully about placement thanks to narrow fairways and tricky mounded greens. Salmon Run Golf & Wilderness Club's signature hole is the par-3 fourth, which plays downhill to an island green, by far the toughest green on the course.
