Solid Public Course
One of the better public courses in the area and very reasonably priced. Course has an extra par three that is a nice addition.
Layout is over flat terrain, ut greens are built up with plenty of undulation.
Still in great shape,
I play this course at least once a week because it is in really good shape and green fees are reasonable. Played yesterday and with all the rain we’ve had it was a muddy mess but playable. Greens were in excellent shape and not soggy at all. Still my course of choice. Playing again Friday.
Great place
Staff was awesome as usual. I bring my friends from out of town all the time to play here. My buddy came down from Charleston Came this weekend and even though it was raining the staff gave us great advice as to when it was moving out and when to get home. Just when we thought the day was gone, they were spot on with weather. I have played the Westin course maybe 10 times and this is a better deal and even better course. Will continue to come back.
Twilight golfing
Great course but the only thing I don’t like. You have to book this golfnow you pay the 5 dollars for nothing and then when you arrive you pay your greens fee, so why? The next rime I wanted to play I called the course directly and the person tried to put me thru Golf Now and I explain this to him and he said he doesn’t know? Why it like that
Great Reprieve!
Crosswinds is a course I love to play as a Senior golfer. The Senior tees are fair, and. still provide a challenge. The challenge is sufficient enough to cause my son, who hits the ball much further than I, to still be willing to play alongside me so we can enjoy the course together.
We also even enjoy the frequent air maneuvers of several jets from the nearby airbase! They provide intermittent distraction from any missed shots, and help us enjoy the great outdoors!
Great Course and Rate
Discovered Crosswinds during a warm-weather escape, and it was everything a frequent golfer could want. Enjoyed it so much, we played it again the next day. High marks from my way.
