Description

Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2016.

Both the championship Grizzly Course and the nine-hole Bruin Course at the Golf Center at Kings Island were designed by the team of Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. They designed it to championship standards, just on a smaller scale. The course is short and challenging, allowing golfers to get in championship golf in half the time. There is also another set of tees for the option of playing an 18-hole round. The Bruin has all of the challenges that the Grizzly has, right down to the rolling terrain, water hazards, and strategically placed bunkers. There are also trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course offers enough variety that golfers will have to use ever club in their bag. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center boasts an Academy Course featuring four championship holes and a large putting green.
