Oakhaven Golf Club
About
Oakhaven Golf Club's versatile layout appeals to a variety of different tastes and skill levels with two nines that are completely distinct. The front nine is more open with opportunities for both long hitters and precise shot makers to shine while the tighter back nine winds through rolling woodlands with more bunkers coming into play. There are also water hazards that come into play on several holes. In addition to the championship golf course, Oakhaven is also known throughout central Ohio for having some of the best and most expansive practice facilities. The course offers a 50-acre driving range with 33 heated, covered tees and 60 grass tees as well as two practice chipping greens with a sand bunker, a 5,000 square-foot putting green, and an indoor putting facility.

Great Course, Very Fun Round
This is a fun and interesting layout. The front 9 and the back 9 play like two completely different courses. The front 9 is wide open; the back 9 is tight with trees everywhere. The par 3s are all pretty basic and straight-forward, except for 11 which has you hitting over water. There was a good mix of long and short par 4s, and the par 5s were tough- especially the 6th hole. The tee shot isn't too bad, the fairway is wide open, but the approach and the green are the toughest on the course.
The course is very well maintained, fairways and greens were trimmed nicely, and the rough was thick. The pace was a little slow, but a couple of the slower groups let us play through when we caught up to them, so it really wasn't too bad. I enjoyed my round and will definitely play here again.
Oakhaven, in great shape for late fall
Although it was cloudy and in the 40's, we enjoyed our round. The course was in surprisingly great shape. Our only complaint, we had an older cart with no windshield and the cart pats need some repair.
Course was in good condition with the recent amount of rain. Long course with a tough back 9.
Nice Course Greens in great shape
It was a nice course. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fairly easy open front nine. The greens were in great shape and rolled true and fast
Slow Round
Got there in plenty of time for our 9:20 tee time. As we approached the tee their were 3 or 4 groups waiting to tee off. Turns out they were all together playing some sort of scramble. They had the 9:04 time slot but they consisted of 5 or 6 groups. Needles to say we teed off well past our scheduled 9:20 time. We waited behind these groups on every hole and it took 6 hours to complete the round. On top of that the course was very wet and the rough was about 4-6 inches high. You could practically be standing on your ball and not see it. This course should have been closed that day.
Nice course. Carts need upgrades.
Great course. Front 9 is open and back 9 is tight with a lot of trees. Carts need front windshields for the cold weather rounds.
I will play here again in warmer weather.
Expect the unusual
We were a twosome proceeded by a foursome. We were constantly waiting to tee off. This was to be expected. The unexpected was the course manager decided to drop a walking junior off between us & the foursome at 13. I have never seen this before. Have to admit, it got me upset. We called the clubhouse and were told that this is something they do. Never have I ever seen this before. Completely unexpected. You, however, can now expect it to happen to you. Crazy!
Good, fun course
The course has a great layout and is a lot of fun to play. We usually go there a handful of times during the season. It has a nice warm up front 9 to get you in the groove of your game before you make the turn to the back 9. In my opinion the back 9 is a lot tougher, tighter fairways, lots of trouble and some very nice tough greens. Well done on you the course design, I give it 2 Thumbs up
A tale of two nines
Playing here is like playing 2 totally different courses. Front 9 is wide open, barely a tree in sight. Back 9 is all through tree lined fairways. Obviously, an accurate driver is essential on the back 9.
Snack bar lady was excellent, guy at the pro shop needs some customer service training. Very abrupt with answers to my asking where I could find a scorecard. Get dome tips from the snack bar lady, sir.
wonderful afternoon
The hot weather broke with some winds from the north, so it was a PERFECT golf day. Late afternoon, the course wasn't busy, so it was a PERFECT golf day. Nice staff, friendly golfers to join up with, lovely course.
This course should be easy for beginners
Front nine pretty wide open, back nine little tougher, tight fairways, greens pretty good speed, staff really friendly , 4 tee off boxes, I used light blue
Great track
Course was in great condition. Good challenging course too. Poor pace of play management. Took 3+ hours to play the back nine. Will definitely be back though.
Oakhaven
Nice course but hard to the eye for defying the fairway and rough and greens generally just start on fairways. Long par three from the blacks 250+ #11 course is long from the tips
