Emerald Woods Golf Club boasts 45 holes of championship golf, which is comprised of five different nines. They can be mixed and matched for a variety of different 18-hole combinations but it's also great if you just want to play a quick nine holes. The Pine Valley/St. Andrews Course is the most challenging combination but for a less demanding option, the Audrey's/Heatherstone Course is perfect. The player-friendly layout is more open, but there are still plenty of strategically placed bunkers to keep it interesting. Water hazards also come into play on many of the holes. The most memorable hole at Emerald Woods is the 16th, notorious for the island green that sits in the middle of Lake Elizabeth. This hole has been known to eat up a ball or two from even the best players.
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2017.
