Double charged
I went here today after booking a discounted tee time (Hot Deals) last week. I purchased three Miller Lights and a Powerade prior to my round, but was charged $28. I didn’t realize until I got home that I was pre-paid through GolfNow, and was definitely charged twice for my round. This is the second consecutive time I’ve had trouble with the same staff member at this course. I will not be back.
Course
Par 3 a great place to practice your irons and a tuff course. Love it.
golfnow tripled booked tee time
Golfnow triple booked the tee time and when we showed up the course would only allow us to play 9 holes instead of 18 holes. We had to wait 30 minutes to tee off. Golfnow has the worst customer service. There is no where on the website to write a review about them just the course itself.
The course did the best the could for the situation. Just a shame that golfnow has done nothing to correct this time of issue.
This course was a good deal on golf now
Had fun course was fair no wait in and out liked it
Good practice course
My lady and I went out and played the course twice today (18 holes). The pace was great. I almost lost my first ball on hole one due to all the range balls being so close. Other than that it was a good experience. After playing we hit the range. 140 balls is only 9 dollars.
Course Staff Overwhelmed by an Event
I’d played Robins Nest 3 out of 4 Saturday’s in late June/early July, and scheduled an 11:40 tee time, which was the earliest practical time available for my brother and I. We arrived a little early to find that the course was hosting a donor event for a local private school that morning. The course was overwhelmed by the number of guests at the event, and we were advised by one employee we wouldn’t be able to tee off until at least 1:00, and by another employee, “sometime between 12 and 12:30”. They gave us a range token and told us we could hit some balls while we wait. We waited until 12:30 and when we went back to the clubhouse we were told they had no idea when the first group would be done, or when we’d be able to play. I’m unlikely to return to the course as a result.
The staff was unable to refund my GolfNow booking fee, and told me they had no way of contacting me to let me know my tee time would be pushed/cancelled.
Excellent beginner course
This is excellent beginner course. Staff is very friendly. Our tee time was @8:00am. Carts were ready outside when we got there. Facility wasn't opened but someone there told us that we could go ahead and start. We did that and after our round when I asked the staff they said that was perfectly fine!! Very nice and friendly people. I'll go there any time.
You get what you pay for
I wouldn't pay more than $10 to play this 9 Hole Par 3. Perfect for trying to work on your iron game or you are a beginner it's great
Unprofessional staff
We have never been treated this poorly at any establishment, much less a golf course. After talking to various people today, the behavior of this staff member is quite typical of him. While the golf course is cheap to play, I’d much rather take my money elsewhere and drive farther for another par 3. We were embarrassed for this gentleman. Also, he claims he is an owner, which makes his behavior even more shocking and unacceptable.
Good par 3
This is a great course for young and beginner golfers. Greens are a challenge with rolling slopes. Can't go wrong with the price!
Great place for beginners
Great place for beginners and youth players. Also a great place to practice up on your short game. Very friendly staff.
