Red/White at Neumann Golf Course
About
The Neumann Golf Course offers golfers picturesque surroundings and a quiet round, as well as four sets of tees so no golfer will be too intimidated.
Golfers who play the Red & White tracks in tandem at the Neumann Golf Course will be golfing the golf course's shortest round, at a maximum par of 72 over 5,957 yards from the Black tees. Should they choose to tee off on the Red Course, they'll do so on a par 4 that plays to 318 yards from the Black tees, and things won't get too long until the sixth hole, one of four holes on the combined golf courses that play to over 400 yards.
This round of golf on the Red and White tracks at the Neumann Golf Course would wind up on a short par-3 that measures 158 yards from the Black tees.

Decent Course
Decent course, long enough for me and my fellow high handicap friends to not drive the green, but not too long to where we can’t hit any greens. The physical cup did come out of a few holes when I pulled the flags out which was weird. Course was well kept.

Downhill, and not just the putts.
This course used to be the place that every westsider of Cincinnati wanted to play. Three 9 hole courses, so if you were playing 18, you would even get to be surprised on which course you’d be on.
In years past, Neumann was always the go-to golf course of all the CRC courses. So much so, the other courses of the CRC relied upon Neumann to keep their course up and running. What the CRC is wasting money on now, I’m not sure, but it definitely isn’t going towards their golf courses.
Neumann hacked down trees, bushes, fences, shrubs, and other foliage, but chose to ignore their greens, tee boxes, fairways, and roughs, as well as cart paths, benches, water coolers, and basically any amenity a golf course may offer.
The rough featured patches of bare mud, and marshy low spots you could sink a Volvo in. Fairways were so long, it seemed like the ball was sitting on shag carpeting. The greens were pocked and long, and tee boxes were bare and overgrown at the same time. The cart paths may as well be blacktop millings, because there isn’t much path left these days.
Now I understand it’s February, and some of those things courses have to deal with early on, but it won’t change come summertime. Even my wife, who has been on two golf courses in her life, commented about how poorly looking the course was.
And to top it off, it cost me $26 (booked on GolfNow) just to play 9 holes, and it would have been close to $35 to play a full 18. I played Neumann last summer too, and they charged me over $50 to play at 2pm during the week. Awful.
I’m hoping Neumann can right the ship, get more money from the CRC, maybe even get new, more experienced greenskeepers, and turn the course around, but seeing the recent trajectory, I wouldn’t be surprised in Neumann turned into a subdivision before 2030.

Challenging Greens!
This course has some of the tougher green layouts in Cincinnati. Shot placement below the hole is key to scoring. Above the hole or hole high approach shots yield some fast, hard breaking putts! Fun to play!

Horrible
Horrible staff horrible course way over booked us there was one point we had 8 tee times on one hole because it was so backed up. Everyone in the pro shop has a stick in there behind. They even lied and said they had no tee times then when we he had someone else walk in and they gave them a time. Never will be back anyway what type of golf course doesn’t have any bunkers? Should of told me something right there

Course is nice
The day we played it was extremely hot and they had no water at any of the tee boxes which was not good at all.
There must have been some reasonable explanation why they didn’t have water situated for us to fill our water bottle or someone coming around to see if we wanted water. I was very surprised
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Neumann golf course. CRC Golf Courses, with many other courses in the tri-state area, have removed water refilling stations to protect our guests from possible water contamination that could lead to serious sickness. We encourage our golfers to bring their own refillable water bottle or purchase one from our F&B counters.
Our courses have water bottle filling stations and drinking fountains in the clubhouse, and our F&B team will happily refill your water bottle at no charge! We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Hardest greens I've ever played
Having played many professional courses, these might be the most difficult greens I've ever played. It was hot, dry and they were fast! But a lot of fun. The course layout is okay, lots of hills and slopes make it hard to know where your ball ends up even when you hit fairways. Overall, a lot of fun. Look forward to playing it again.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review for our Neumann course. We are glad to hear you were able to enjoy your round of play, even with the greens being dry and fast. We continue to try to perfect our watering and irrigation system; a real challenge on those hot summer days. We hope to see you back on the course again soon!
Good good!
White course is not so good but red course is very nice.
