You can lose balls in the middle of the fairway
The fairways have unintended water hazards. Hit it down the middle and you can't find your ball because it is in the center of a slimy quagmire. The cart paths jar your kidneys and ruin your back.
In fairness the greens are in good shape. Can't say that for the rest of the course.
Louisiana swamp
Nothing like playing in swamp lands... Was disappointed, definitely a waste of time and money.
Decent
Course is long in the front, then short in the back..it's a decent course..good deals during the week..had a nice time. Not veery busy..nice time with friends..
course is not bad to play
Fairways need a little work Greens are very good over all a good time there
good value
This course can definitely use some work as the fairways and rough look pretty much the same. The most annoying thing was how bumpy it was. You can probably walk the course faster than you can drive it. The greens were in good shape and they have decent tee boxes (even for the women!) for a cheaper course. Be sure to ask before going out for some yardages to water, doglegs, etc as it is very helpful. Even with the negatives I have, I still consider it a good course for the money and would play it again.
Ok course.
This course is OK. I would not play here at full price. But with the savings from GolfNow I would play again. This course is a true cow pasture turned golf course. There was visible weeds on the the greens. Very wet not great drainage.
need to buy more carts
i got a nice 50% off on golfnow for a saturday morning. i showed up with my friend and the course let a scramble outing go out that morning. the course literally had no carts. they must keep a stable of 15, only. i would have walked, but it was a steady rain.
the staff was really friendly, be we had to wait nearly an hour to get on the course. the woman at the desk was nice enough to give me a hole by hole detailed tour using the scorecard. the course opened in 1926, closed during world war 2, and has been open since then. pretty cool.
the course itself is just ok, with some tricky, small greens. id recommend this course to someone learning how to play the game, or just wants a quiet round, without any course intervention. it is in the middle of nowhere.
Long drive
Course is about 45 minutes from akron, decent set up nice and quiet area. Yardages seemed to be pretty far off from what was marked. only clear markers were 150 and were still off. Bring your range finder for this one. Great for beginners.
Very...
Nice course... Front nine longer than back but much more open, back tight but shorter, no issues at all with course, a super attentive n friendly staff... Worth the drive (45 min from Akron)
