Prairie Golf Gem
My first foray into prairie golf and it was a great experience! Course has wild Jim Engh greens to go along with rolling terrain and endless prairie views! The layout makes superb use of the rolling terrain. Course conditions were great and the pace was perfect. The course starts and finishes at the high point on property.
Incredible value at a complete gem of a course
What can I say about Medicine Hole? First off it's another Jim Engh design so that speaks volumes about the track itself. Impeccable conditions on this course lent itself to great scoring opportunities. The course has great signage all around, the layout is well separated. Elevation changes at the tees and greens give it so much character. The fairways are rolling all behind a stereotypical North Dakota backdrop of flat grasslands. The native grasses are tough to hit out of if you miss the fairway.
My only recommendation would be to add some drinking water stations, a restroom, and definitely 9 more holes. The value at this course is second to none.
