One of two 18-hole championship courses at the Pearl Golf Club in golf-rich Brunswick County, Pearl West is a links-style design set on a 900-acre marsh preserve. Upon opening in 1988, the Dan Maples-designed Pearl West was nominated as one of the best new golf courses in America by Golf Digest. Like Pearl East, the 18th hole plays on bluffs along the Calabash River.
