The Lake Lure Golf Course is a challenging municipal 9-hole course that was designed by Donald Ross. It is one of the most scenic courses to play in the area and is located at 658 Memorial Hwy, next to the Lake Lure Fire Station and just around the corner from Hwy 9 South.
The Golf Course is owned by the Town of Lake Lure and managed by the Course Doctors and open to the public. The Donald Ross design was renovated in 2010. The golf course has bent grass greens and bermuda tees and fairways.
