Sedgefield Country Club has undergone a lot of changes in its 80-year history, but none more telling than a recent renovation that restored many of the original Donald Ross design characteristics. The course, which plays as a 7,130-yard par 70, received a $3 million makeover that restored the former home of the Greater Greensboro Open back to how Ross intended it to play. As part of the process, lost bunkers were restored, but the courses also got added length and new turfgrasses to account for today's technology.
