Upon its debut, the Jones Course at Rock Barn Golf & Spa was ranked among the best new courses in the country. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Golf Digest ranked the Jones Course, which is part of a 36-hole semi-private facility, fourth among best new upscale public courses in the country in 2003. Jones took advantage of natural movement, punctuating it with elaborate bunkering, two-tiered A-1/A-4 bentgrass greens and good risk/reward par 5s.
