Prestonwood Country Club is a 54-hole private club in Cary, North Carolina between the larger cities of Raleigh and Durham. The club is part of a larger residential community and opened in 1988, while the Highlands course was added in 1993. Each of the three private-access golf courses at Prestonwood were designed by Tom Jackson, a prolific name in course architecture in the Carolinas. The Highlands course can stretch to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees.
