Great condition
A great golf course. Do not be fooled by the seemingly short yardage. Lots of trouble off the tee and the greens are challenging. Very reasonable to join the Club which has many other excellent facilities.
Great experience at Beech Mountain
This is a real mountain course! Big vista views from some of the tees (particularly numbers 8 and 10). Well maintained and very playable for all skill levels but challenging. Don’t let the yardage from the back tees fool you. It plays longer than the yardage due to the terrain. Private but accessible with a rental or with a member.
Outstanding Value and Beauty
The course and staff totally exceeded my expectations. The course from fairways to greens are in outstanding shape. As with any mountain course, it is challenging but very manageable. The Pro Shop staff are very professional, friendly, and accommodating. The pace of play was very good and it was a holiday weekend. The weather was as close to perfect as one could hope for on a golf outing, From what I'm told, the temperature rarely, if ever, get to 80 deg in the summer. It is definitely worth the trip if you're in the area.
Perfect Course Conditions
This golf course is a perfectly manicured mountain course with the most spectacular long range views that you will ever encounter. Greens are challenging, yet very fair. This is definitely a ball strikers golf course, precision is key. There are multiple private golf courses in the area, Beech Mountain Club ranks as one of the best. Play it if you have a chance.
