A historic Donald Ross design dating back to 1928, The Sagamore Golf Course sits in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and overlooks scenic Lake George. Part of the Sagamore Resort, the golf course was part of an extensive $75 million renovation that brought it back to it's former glory. Today, the course plays a par 70 and 6,821 yards and features small, firm and fast greens that, in Ross style, often slope severely from back to front. The Sagamore is about a 45-minute drive north from the horse racing hotbed of Saratoga Springs.
