High Point Golf Club
About
High Point Golf Club is a public course in Montague that has been around since 1966. The course has since undergone major renovations but it still retains the original character of the design. The layout is routed between two massive, sparkling lakes. You won't find any parallel holes on this golf course, it provides plenty of space so you don't have to worry about errant drives. High Point is seemingly mild, but don't be fooled by the traditional 6,783-yard layout. There is a surprising amount of bite to this golf course. Each hole presents a unique challenge but what they have in common are the rolling fairways that are subtly contoured. They leave for some difficult and creative approaches. In addition to the golf course, High Point also has a driving range available as well as putting and chipping greens.

water course
excellent course layout. decent fairways, greens good shape. lots of water and with recent rains water level was extremely high, forced carries. enjoyed our round and will come back
Slow as a turtle
The pace of play was slower than a turtle ..I'm guessing since it was a nice day everyone was out ...definitely love the course and I will be back to play
Great bang for the buck
I played here 3 times this month and I’d come back even though the drive is an hour and half for me.
Staff is very friendly and lax.
Not too many players out there so pace of place is great.
You won’t find any rangers to speed up play if you care about that stuff.
Maintenance wise , well you’re getting what you paid for.
Price is great but be prepared to lose some balls.
The cheap price and friendly/lax staffs is why I’d come back again.
Fairways don’t exist, tee boxes in awful condition.
The grass was as hard as concrete in almost all the holes
Up for the challenge
Lots of bends, twist and water that gives you a little of it all.
Only wish times were spaced out better as on busy days everyone is on top of everyone
What a fun Hidden Gem.
This golf course is off the beaten path but its worth the trip. I played at 4PM by myself. They didn't pair me up with anyone else and they did not seem very busy for a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I finished the round around 7PM. The starter and other staff were all very friendly and helpful with a walkthrough of the course before teeing off. I would recommend this course and will absolutely be coming back.
