Crappy layout and terrible bunkers, but great food
A well below average, unpopular golf club in northern NJ, and not inexpensive. The course: 11 of 18 holes have a lot of elevation change, and several holes are fairly good, most notably 5, 10, and 12. Silly severe greens, which generally roll pretty good, are generally the course's main defense. This club is most well known for the very high-quality food, not the golf course.
Solid Golf Course
Relatively flat course except for you approches to the greens. There were many blind shots into the green.
The greens were terrific, just that you couldn't see which way they were going to break on your approach shot. Some greens ran front to back, other back to front or right and left. This made for a lot of fun on the greens, because they were quick. you want to try and stay below the hole. Favorite hole, #10 severly down hill par 3, 2 clubs less than the 180 yardage.
