Nice course
Hyatt Hills is a convenient course to play, and friendly staff
Go play
Looking to try to keep swing going and play as long as I can. Love winter golf, less people playing and pace of play is awesome.
Great course
Hyatt Hills is a great place to play and practice your game. The course is challenging enough to make you use almost every club in your bag. If you are not playing the range gives you the opportunity to work on your complete game- hitting balls- putting- pitching-chipping. Also you can’t beat the price.
Golf course is good
The price is good, the course is good, and the staff is friendly.
O'Brians is worth a visit to this course
Great bar with terrific food. The golf course was also in good shape considering the amount of play it gets.
Players repair ball marks and replace divots to keep it nice,
2nd round in a row here that it took 2.5 hours to play 9 holes, waited to hit every shot. Realize there are beginners etc. but a little pace management is in order.
Great Course with Inattentive Staff
Always enjoy playing this course. However, the place is poorly managed-which is surprising for a Troon course. As an example, golf carts are usually not ready when you arrive. There is always some form of delay. On this particular date, there was a 10 minute delay since the Starter snuck in a foursome that was not on the tee sheet. Also, at the first hole, there was a couple golfers from the ninth hole who just walked on our hole and were conducting a lesson. Several of us already backed up on the first tee attempted to contact the pro shop to alert them-but no one answered. I even tried to get the GolfNow operator to see if she could get a hold of the pro shop-no luck either. (Pro Shop is usually staffed by younger individuals who spend most of their shift playing with their cellphones.) Trying to find the Golf Manager as just as difficult...he is just as elusive. Troon needs to address these issues.
Golf Course
The course is good and the scenery is good, so it's good to play games
A hidden gem
One of the best 9 hole courses, has a country club feel. Challenging water and bunkers where you'll hit. Greens protected by bunkers. Greens challenge reading slope and speed
Excellent to test your strategies playing a hole
Plays slow it's busy. But it's well worth an extra 30-60 minutes.
Excellent driving range and practice putting green
My new favorite course
Well worth it ... one of the Best 9 hole in the area
A well manicures scenic and challenging 9 hole that I ever played.
Every hole you are encountering either buyers on your drive, water hazards or narrowing bends, sometimes all at once. Makes you really think your shot (if you drive the ball 225-250, there's bunkers). every green seemed to be protected by deep bunkers. And the rough was 2 inches deep, hitting out or chopping out (I learned fast. I'm a 16 hdcp, pared 3 holes, bogeyed more , including one with 8 strokes.
Loved the par 3's, especially the one surrounded by the lake, and the long par 5's
Next time will think first off the tees and not just swing
(pace of play was slower by a solid 45 minutes for a 9 hole, but felt it was still well worth it)
GOT TO TRY IT OUT
Too bad season is ending, definitely my favorite
Short hop from Staten Island !!!
Golf Course
The grass is clean and the price is good so I can recommend it
