About
Featuring snow-capped mountains draped upon the shores of Lake Tahoe, Edgewood Tahoe delivers one of the most scenic rounds of golf anywhere. The course, designed by George Fazio, the uncle of Tom Fazio, serves up these delicious views on NBC every July during the American Century Championship, a celebrity-infused golf party and stableford competition that draws the likes of Charles Barkley, Steph Curry and other famous faces to South Lake Tahoe.
The routing is characterized by tall, stately pines and water hazards. Nearly a dozen holes dogleg to the right, so it's player-friendly for all. Four holes roam upon the lake shore. No. 9 gives golfers a taste of its crystal blue waters, while the dramatic par 5-3-5 finish at holes 16 through 18 offer up risk-reward scenarios coupled by unmatched scenery.

Edgewood G C Conditions
It is always a great pleasure to play Edgewood G C
This time was no exception.
The golf course was in spectacular condition
From the Tee Box thru the Greens the course couldn't have been in any better shape
And to top it off, the weather was ideal!
Immaculate!
Best course I’ve ever played. Everything is green. Staff and attendants were absolutely amazing! Definitely a must play. I will be back.
If You Can Afford It
Playing two or three times in a lifetime is worth it.
Only valet parking is somewhat annoying ... to us common-folk ...
A wind apocalypse
I was blown away ... literally ... playing Edgewood on one of the windiest days I've ever experienced on a golf course. The lake was angry, my friends.
The course was in great shape (as always) and the sun was shining, but a steady four-club wind made the lakeside holes almost unplayable. I can't say it was enjoyable, but it was memorable. One of those rounds I'll be talking about two decades from now.
Edgewood Tahoe
All grass area's were in good condition. Bunkers need additional sand to be playable by my standards.
Slow play caused by too many private groups playing at the same time and consuming too much alcohol.
Carts have a sensor on them that causes the arts to stop running if they enter restricted area's. There are area's of the course that are restricted but should not be.

We really enjoyed playing this course! Beautiful and fun.
Fantastic course
The conditions were almost perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly. You will have a wonderful time.
Good layout
Course is still healing from winter but overall condition were better than I expected. In few weeks it should be awesome!!
Edgewood
Wonderful golf outing, some fairway and green areas were still under repair, course has only been reopened for a couple of weeks, therefore that is expected. I know this place will be at 100% Very Soon. If you ever have opportunity to play Edgewood, do it, you will be impressed!
Great golf course, pretentious workers
Looked forward to playing this golf course for a really long time. And the course itself did not disappoint. The layout/conditions/scenery/pace were all absolutely incredible. That said, the staff needs to be trained to be more welcoming. I felt they looked at me as if I was “lucky” to be playing THEIR course. Certainly not the experience I was hoping for.
5 Stars all around!!
We play golf all the country and many places internationally and few courses can compare to the beauty at Edgewood! It is a fantastic challenging layout with no 2 holes alike. The greens are rolling close to 11 12 I would estimate so be cautious. Even if your not having your best day playing just look around and your spirits will be uplifted.
