The Wolf Course at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is the longest course in Nevada at just over 7,600 yards. It is not only the most difficult of the three golf courses at the resort, it is one of the toughest in the state, if not the entire Southwest. Pete Dye designed all three championship courses at Paiute, giving each a unique character and different set of challenges. Wolf was the newest course to join Snow Mountain, the original layout, and Sun Mountain, which is considered the most player friendly. Although Wolf is the most challenging of the trio, its difficulty level is tempered by five different sets of tees. The layout is characterized by severe undulations and alternate landing areas. The 15th hole is also notable for its challenging island green.
