Great little gem!
Better than we expected for $18, great course in great shape and friendly staff. No beverage cart out the day we played and 97 degrees.
Worth the drive
Very we'll maintained small town country club. No waiting ever at the tee box on a Sunday! Fun course, not too easy and not too challenging! Loved playing along corn fields opposed to city housing.
Much harder then it looks
This was a fun course. At first I thought with it being so short it would be easy. But after my first 4 putt I realized I had my work cut out for me on these challenging greens.
Greens are outstanding
Course offers a broad selection of holes. The par threes are all over 150 yards which requires accuracy to small to medium size greens; one requires carrying over water at least 150. I would recommend to all ages and skill levels.
Beautiful course
Beautiful layout. Professional type course in the rural small town!!
Well worth the drive.
Challenging course in excellent condition. Huge greens that rolled very nice. Not super long... but there are a couple very lengthy holes if you tip it out. OB and hazards to deal with, seemingly on every shot, which forces you to hit well placed shots. I had a great time and will return!
Great course
The course is a fun place to play and can't be beat for the money. Staff very friendly. Pro shop was small but accommodating and the course does a fine job in making up for that
Eastern Nebraska's Hidden Gem
This golf course is very lush. It's rare to have a bad lie in the fairways and shoulder rough. The overall layout and hazards make the course interesting and challenging, but definitely not overwhelming. I have little doubt that if this course was located in an urban area it would be packed on a daily basis. Since it's rural and at least a half hour drive for most folks, I find the course almost empty at mid-day during the week. It's a shame for the course, but great for my solitude-loving self!
The layout of this course has a great variety of holes.
One of the best courses in Nebraska! Challenging yet fair.
the best greens for the money you can play, way better than any course not private in Omaha.
If you want to putt on great green then take a trip up to Oakland and play the country club and for golfnow price its way worth it.
Great golf at a reasonable price
Some of the best greens I have ever putted on.
The golf course was in excellent shape and it has quite a few challenging holes.
I really enjoyed the course.
THE COURSE WAS MORE THAN WHAT I EXPECTED IN A TOWN THAT SIZE.
THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE MOWED ,WATERED , THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY, THE GOLF CARTS WERE CLEAN AND WELL KEPT UP. THE COURSE WAS DIFFICULT AT TIMES BUT GOLFER FRIENDLY. WILL RETURN TO PLAY IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE .. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
This is a very nice course that encorporates numerous doglegs and water hazards to make for an interesting mix.
A very nice course to walk (it's flat throughout) it is 6700 yards from the tips. I have played it twice and it has both times been in very good condition. The greens are generous with lots undulations and are in excellent condition. Quick and roll true. Played from the tips and with the wind that is frequently on the plains it a difficult challenge. A good mix of water hazards and doglegs makes for a number of interesting holes. An hour drive from Omaha, its becoming one of my favorites.
If you live near the course, it's worth your time
The course was not good enough for me to want to make the drive from Omaha again. If you live nearby, it's probably the best for the price. The guy who worked the clubhouse and set us up was extremely negative and talked down to us. It took all my limited positive attitude not to let him irritate me.
Well manicured, wide open fairways.
We played with no one in front or behind us. Well maintained fairways and greens. Fairways are wide open, and greens have lots of speed.
