Typical Country Club feel to it

First of all I am not a member at YCC. I was able to play through a gift certificate from a United Way auction.
The staff at YCC were all very nice and accommodating to us "peasants", the member players were not however. Your typical garden variety country club snobs prowled the course in droves. Enough about them and on to the course.
Nearly every hole had a dog leg to it, some more severe than others. All holes were fair and challenging with either sand bunkers or trees to negotiate around. The course is lined with trees and bunkers on every hole. Maintenance does a great job keeping the trees pruned back from your hitting alleys and the sand traps are in great shape. Water comes into play on a couple of holes mostly in the form of little streams running across a fairway. The greens were in great shape as were the tee boxes. The course had many drinking water stations and restrooms for the players. I really did enjoy the challenge of the course and wouldn't mind playing it again someday.
