Liberty Hills
Course is a bit off of the beaten path. Slightly difficult navigating the course in a couple of spots. Better signage would be greatly helpful. Cart paths are pretty rough. Everything else about this course is pretty average.
Nice Greens
It was my first time playing there. The greens were excellent but the cart paths were really bad. Looking for a smooth place to drive the cart was a full time job.
Some areas have water damage
First fairway was not cut for awhile because of all the rain but much of the course was very nice. Greens were in very good shape. Some tees were in bad shape and the signage telling you where you were was nonexistent.
I will play it again I know the weather had to have been hard on the course and it should improve.
Soggy mess but playable.
Rain rain and more rain this Soring has taken a role on this course and others. Unable to mow and washouts are abundant. We need some dry weather so they can mow and repair. Tee boxes are really bad and bunkers were ponds. Like this at a lot of courses. Great friendly staff.
Going down hill
I've heard from other golf courses that Great Life who now owns Liberty Hills is the place where golf courses go to die. I always just chuckled at this thinking it was sour grapes from the other golf courses. unfortunately though, with Liberty Hills, this seems to be the case
Save your money
Don’t waste your time or money booking here. The greens have been oversanded and are in such bad shape even a 2 foot putt won’t hold a line. Lots of bare spots on and around the greens. Zoysia fairways being transitioned on the back nine almost insures a bad lie. Tee boxes closed and you tee off out of a designated unlevel spot outside the actual tee boxes. Really, do yourself a big favor and look elsewhere.
Zoysia be gone
Tough year for any course with zoysia
This one maybe a little worse
Greens good
Rest of course hit or miss
A little shaggy but early spring.
I'll give the grass a chance to grow and try this course again.
Worse the course has been in 20+ years
Have played this course many times of the years, this is the worse shape it’s ever been in. Don’t play this course until the spring, every part of the course is struggling.
What used to be great is now bad
This course used to be incredible. I've played it for years. Now that great life runs it, it's junk. Way way over priced and the greens are terrible. Tee box's just as bad. No food. It's a shame to see this great layout turn into a terrible course. Don't waste your time and money.
Course has dipped further from when I played 2 yrs ago
Greens are 50% ate up as a result the pin placements were 4to5 foot off the edge of green tee boxes were pretty bad also fairways were the best part of the course sure hope the new greens keeper brings it back it would be a shame to lose it I will probably go back in a couple of years
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Liberty Hills Golf Club. We hope to see you again in the future.
