The Lodge of Four Seasons is home to three popular lakeside golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Ken Kavanaugh, and Jack Nicklaus. It is the only venue in Missouri that boasts 54 championship holes. The Cove, the Robert Trent Jones design, is the Lodge's signature golf course. It is the most challenging of the three layouts with rolling greens and undulating fairways. The many elevation changes make a flat lie hard to find. There are also more than 60 bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. It is a true championship test but a scenic respite is offered by the tranquil views of the lake. The demanding fourth hole is the course's signature, nicknamed "Witch's Cove." Don't let the beautiful scenery distract you though; this hole has seen many bogeys. It requires a long carry over the lake and sand to a deceptive putting surface.
