Annandale Golf Club, a private Jack Nicklaus design near Jackson, is a par-72 that plays at nearly 7,200 yards. In 2005, the course was damaged by Hurricane Katrina, but came through like champ to host the PGA Tour in the fall. Shortly thereafter, Annandale Golf Club's greens were converted from bentgrass to Champion Bermuda in an effort to firm up the greens and help them get through the long hot summers.
