Great Shape

We played early on a Friday and didn't see a single golfer the whole time we were there. Very surprised because it was gorgeous outside. The course was in excellent shape considering there has been very little rain. The tee boxes were in pretty rough shape but again, that is directly related to the drought conditions. The greens were fantastic!
The design of the course was interesting and challenging for players who fade and draw the ball but a bit strange on some holes, like a complete 90° turn at the end of a par 5. It would have been very beneficial to take a spin around the course first because we had no idea where to hit it sometimes.
My only real gripes were that the mower followed us around the first six holes or so. Since we were the only ones out there, it should have been easy for them to pick a different hike to mow. Also, the sprinklers went off on us on a few tee boxes. We called and someone eventually came out and turned them off but it was a minor annoyance since the course was so slow and it should have been an easy thing to control.
Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be back!
