Fun course!

Course is very well maintained. Not a ton of sand or water features but fairways are lined with trees. Great prices on rounds, will continue to play here and recommend to others.

Golfed with grandchildren

This was a good course for a 6 and 15 year old. Pretty straight up and down with a few dog legs. We were able to go at our pace. Did not lose a ball, fairways were wide with one hole that slopped to the right the whole length. Not a difficult course.

Fun 9 Hole Course

Really interesting holes and a good variety of straight and doglegs — enough to keep you thinking. Fairways were a touch long but maybe I caught the end of the mowing cycle. Greens are pretty small and fairly slow with some bumpy bare spots.

Young person doing check ins didn’t know they even participated in the GolfNow booking process but I shared the confirmation and she handed me a cart key with a big smile.

Is this place perfect — of course not but it’s a fun golf course and the staff seems to be very friendly and proud to be there!

Excellent course with great service and food

Ferndale's 9-hole course is a great place to test your golf skills and have fun doing so. The scenery Ferndale has to offer is unmatched in the area as it is tucked into the base of bluffs between Rushford and Houston, Minnesota. The course is very well maintained by a motivated grounds crew and the clubhouse is welcoming with its friendly staff who provide great service and great food. Bring your friends and enjoy Ferndale's golf and beauty!

Standard Rural 9-hole Track

A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work. Although I did not play badly, this 9-hole course is rather mundane. The crew seems to work hard to maintain the course, but it is pretty standard fare. The local friends I was visiting are high handicappers, which makes this a good place for them. I probably would not come here myself, but this day was fun and pretty laid back anyway. I wouldn't go out of my way to play here if you are looking for something special.
