Just ok
They need to spread out the tee times instead of going for the money grab. Literally had to wait in every shot.
Mild Fall day
The pro was very cordial and helpful. The greens and fairways were in very good shape for late season golf. Some leaves, but to be expected for fall golf season. Overall very enjoyable 😉
Things I liked:
- Awesome old architecture golf course with tight tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, tough doglegs, and great use of the elevation of the land.
- Lots of interesting holes. Holes #4 thru #11 was fun stretch… but so was #13 thru #16.
- The conditions were perfect… greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers were all in great shape!
- This is probably weird, but I liked how the entrance to the course felt like you were pulling into someone’s driveway. Quirky and different!
- Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Things I did not like:
- This was my first time playing, and I did get lost/turned around a few times. Eventually I did find marking on the cart path, but maybe make that closer to the green being completed.
Things important to me:
- Rates are posted on their website.
- I walked. If you walk regularly, go for it. But #9 is straight uphill, and there are several other hills along the way to make this a challenge.
- Don’t recall any water coolers being out on the golf course.
- Cool branded ball marker.
Nice course
I would play again. Took almost 5 hours to play as there was a huge backlog at hole 10. No on course beverage cart.
Recommend
Beautiful course, great condition. Challenging course, particularly the back 9. Would play there again. Drink cart services for the day can be hit or miss.
Great course for the money
Excellent course, challenging yet forgiving! Would play again. Greens were fast but held shots into them.
Beautiful Fall day
The course was in very good condition and well maintained.
The golf course has replaced all of its golf carts with new ones since I last golfed here in August.
End of Summer
Really excited to play the course and it did not disappoint. The weather was warm, but with 30 mph gusts the course played longer and harder. The biggest challenge was the blowing leaves which easily hid your ball on and off fairways which slowed down the play. Even with that the course was beautiful and as always worth the money.
Very hilly course
Lots of challenging lies and elevated greens but a fun course to see and play
