You pay for the experience

Want a "country club" feel without the monthly dues? Rush Creek is your spot just 30 mins NW of Minneapolis and about 50 mins from the airport (it takes awhile to get here from there). Bag drop in the parking lot, but the many attendees were just standing around doing nothing, so I dropped my own bag loudly in disgust that no one was offering to help (I was here for a charity event which is why I was shocked no one ran over to assist so I could go park). The staff in the pro shop was top notch as usual, and even pointed out their current year-end specials on apparel. The bar/restaurant is also a hot spot for my family during the year as they offer a wide menu and great drink specials. The course: various tees to play from ranging from 5,000-7,000 yards depending on skill level (not gender). Wide fairways, lush rough and firm & fast undulating greens is what you can expect when teeing it up here. You also won't see any members of the great maintenance staff (unless you're a dew sweeper) as they tend to get off the course fairly early in the morning. Rangers keep the pace of play adequate, bev carts parked at certain locations to keep you refreshed throughout your round and a course that offers some stunning views of lakes, glorious overpriced homes and even some farmland if you look close enough.. Don't mind the trailer park on the right of 16 tee, usually you don't even notice it's there. If you're looking to save $20-$25, walk the course, it's not that difficult to walk, but probably not advised as you're there to enjoy your $100+ round, not beat yourself up. Overall, this marshland course is a fun, fair test of golf that will leave you wanting to come back.

Twin Cities gem

I have played here before and have always been a fan of this track. While many courses in the twin cities are currently fighting winter kill, Rush Creek looks pristine. The course in phenomenal shape. It is a fun track with a good practice facility, along with a clubhouse that rivals the best. Give it a shot.

A daily fee course that resembles a private club

Our groups played from the Silver and only got 9 holes in due to wet and cold weather conditions. Playing the back nine at 3,077 yards, 70.3/137. Easy course to score on from this far upfront. The course was cart path only the day we played. Minnesota Fall Golf. Lots of leaves in the rough. Large greens, some undulating, hold shots. #18 is a fun hole with marshes down the left side and if you want to get home in two you need to hit over them. #12 is a great par three surrounded by marshes and reeds. #13 is a strategic play over water twice. #17 is a dogleg left begging for a big shot to cut it off. Absolutely ideal setting. Staff was great and the clubhouse was palatial. I highly recommend playing this NW

Love it

Great conditions, nice clubhouse and restaurant, good views and a challenging course. A recipe for good things. Par 3's are beautiful and a good test. Maple Grove is not Minneapolis but it is worth the drive. Getting my tee time was easy and the range was very nice. Some holes we were waiting but other than that, pace was fine. Awesome restaurant and outdoor patio area overlooking a few of the holes. My favorite golf course restaurant/bar combo. This course is also a PXG fitter/dealer, and PXG doesn't just ask anyone to do that. A vote of confidence and my recommendation to give the course a shot

It's soooo worth it!

I love playing here...I've played it a few times and it's always a great place to feel a part of. From the moment you drive up to the last step off property you get the feeling that you're at a private club. But your NOT! Anyone can come play here, sure there is a little more price than others in the area...but in my opinion good golf will cost a little more!

First Class Golf Experience

Rush Creek Golf Club is first class all the way. From the time you leave your clubs at the bag drop until you return and have your clubs cleaned and taken to your car, you'll feel like a member of an exclusive private club. The starter at the first tee even offered us apples that he had in a cooler. Oh, yes, there's also the course. Did I say first class? The fairways are wide, undulating, smooth, and in great condition, possibly due to the fact that most riders adhere to the 90 degree rule that is standing course policy. The greens are also in excellent condition, smooth and true, with subtle breaks that are not easily read. You may lip out more than your usual share of putts. The holes are a mix of wide open, links-style holes and several more traditional holes with tree-lined fairways and significant elevation changes, so you won't get bored. Having five sets of tees ranging from 7,305 yards to 5,405 yards the course is playable for players of varying abilities. Several par 4's of 400 or more yards will challenge many golfers, but there are also some shorter par 4's of about 320 yards that require precise tee shot placement in order to avoid bogey- or worse. Rush Creek is not cheap, but the golf experience is worth a splurge at least a couple of times a year. And the nice thing is that you can get a free round (paying for a golf cart) within one week of your birthday by creating an account and signing up for their e-specials. First class.

Great facilities, staff and price need adjustments

The practice facility was great, the course was great. Greens were perfect. Nice layout very challenging. The two biggest issues were the prices 130$ with a cart, that's a bit excessive. And the staff makes you feel like they're better then you and you don't deserve to be on their course. Kinda irritating. Probably won't play again unless there is some kind of deal.

Rush creek golf club is the best club in the country with the best golf manager there is and all the stuff that you are saying is absolutely not true.
