Nice course
I enjoyed the course. My only frustration was that I didn't accept the course guide the starter offered me. It cost me several strokes. Nice layout with a good variety.
Will return
Staff at desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Gave me a book to show each hole due to the blind hazards. Course was very well maintained with MN having a drought. Course is open on the front 9 and harder on the back. Pace of play was okay on the front but bad on the back. Single walker, Single rider, Single rider. Club house has alot of hangout space and practice area was nice too. Will be coming back for sure.
Solid course with good greens
Greens rolled nicely. I would certainly recommend playing if you are in the area. There were a few hokey layouts on holes, but for the most part a good track. Nice staff and reasonable price.
brief
Fairly challenging course in fair condition. Bring balls as you will lose some. Usually not that crowded but pace of play is usually 4 hours plus.
Challenging Layout
We enjoyed our first time playing Heritage and will be back. Blind shots are plentiful and what were thought to be perfect tee shots were penalized. Next time should be better. Way too many poor golfers in front of us so we finished in the dark. Expect a four hour round.
Poor Course Conditions
Large parts of the fairway were dirt patches, even some parts of rough. We are not in the dry part of the year yet, so I will not be playing this course again until after a lot of rain
A really fun layout
If you're tired of courses that require driver off the tee on seemingly every hole, try Heritage Links.
You will hit every club in your bag, and you will have fun doing it.
This course does play true to links style in that the weather has influence, and conditions tend to be fast and firm.
Plenty of tees and times to choose from.
Check it out, I promise you'll have fun.
Staff is very friendly, course was in good condition. It was a beautiful Sunday so play was slow, but not unexpected.
Great time
Really nice people, From Check in to Check ou. Course is in great shape for this early in the year. They even had the Shack open between 9 and 10. Great Burger and cold beer! played on a Sunday in 4 hours and 15 minutes. can not beat it!
Great hospitality
Great people at the front desk and burger stand. Had a great tasting hot dog on the 10th hole. Grass was cut, no bare spots, greens were smooth, nice hole layout, played with 2 friendly guys, Josh and Josh that showed me the famous Minnesota hospitality, even had a nice rain on the 18th hole to clean my clubs
Overall the course was fair.
This was my first round of golf in MN. Rate of play was probably the only thing I can knock. Fairways were in good shape, greens had enough moisture to really get some fun action with the wedges.
I will say I did have to dodge several tee shots from the opposing tee box.
Probably 10-15% over priced throughout the country.
Nothing to bring me back honestly.
