Disappointed to say the least
Initially I thought that the course would be a good one to play and try, however this was not true. The greens and fairways were not kept and the overall confusion that I felt when playing this course prevents me from coming back. Friendly staff, poor course design
Pace of play ruined an otherwise enjoyable round. Staff had no idea how to properly space golfers and seemed indifferent to the groups of six and eight wandering the course. I won’t be back.
Great old course...will play again this summer!
I had not been back to Ma Cal Grove since the mid-80's. It did not disappoint. Although the winter had not fully left the course in the next few weeks I am sure it will green up and the winter spots will be gone. The course is always well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in a low number of smaller town rural courses that "fit" the land they were built on. The course is entertaining to play and easy enough to get around for any skill level. Recommend for any one wanting to get away from the crowds and play a nice course.
