Lochenheath Golf Club is located near Traverse City in Williamsburg, Michigan, overlooking Grand Traverse Bay. Playing over 7,000 yards from the championship tees, the course opened in 2001 and was designed by Florida-based architect Steve Smyers. The golf course features both open and forested holes with Scottish-inspired pot bunkers and high fescue, as well as 16 holes with bay views. Formerly a private golf club, after closing in 2009, Lochenheath reopened in 2010 under new ownership and management and offers public tee times.
