Prairies Golf Club

Absolutely loved my time on this old Elks golf course. Terrific layout with enough elevation change on the land to yield some great golf holes and still be walk able. The old school greens were in perfect condition and have plenty of undulation and character for the golfer.

Absolutely amazing course, easily of the best values in the area. Age old layout with superb greens that track true and quick. Right off busy west main makes it hard to believe this beauty is tucked away right there.

The course is in great shape. The greens track well and are fast, which I like.

This is a really nice golf course but both times I golfed it the maintenance crew followed us around the whole day. It was very hard to tee or putt with the constant grass cutting within a few feet of us. My ball was also run over in the fairway. I'm not really sure if I can take another chance at this course but it is very well maintained I just wish they could move around so the same group isn't followed all day.

Best course in Kalamazoo hands down. Greens roll true. Fair course for beginners but challenging enough for experienced players.

Course was in great shape for mid July. Pace of play was excellent. Requires a variety of approach shots based on distance from the green and elevation. Some shots were uphill and some downhill. Most greens were protected by sand traps challenging all aspects of your game. Very enjoyable course to play.

Great layout tucked behind a busy commercial area. Mature trees, rolling hills, interesting design, I'll be back for sure!

This course is located on the west side of Kalamazoo and has long been a local favorite. Challenging, yet mostly flat with many traps but little water, it presents a good challenge to all levels of golfers. Greens are very nice and fairways and roughs are well maintained. I highly recommend it; try it, you will enjoy it!

We always have a pleasant and fun experience when we golf at the Prairies .

The course is in great shape! The greens tracked well and the speed of the greens was moderate. I will play this course again.

The prairies is in the best shape I have ever seen and that's saying a lot. I've grown up in the area and remember this course being a dump, not any more! Greens were quick, course was cut perfectly and I was blown away. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks golfnow!

Staff friendly, rate of play was good, course in great condition. Never even knew that the course was there.Thanks to golf now for all they do

Played 18. Pace of play slowed on back nine when several group(s) started to appear. We let a couple of twosome play through, then started asking questions. Seems they just started where ever they wanted to

It's the best public course in Kalamazoo co. The best greens and fairways I've seen so far for a public course bar none!
