Ok experience
Played 9 holes. Good venue for beginning/novice golfers. Friendly staff and fair price. Water to drink on course, but ball washers were bone dry or totally broken. Some rough patches as far as greens keeping goes. I would golf there again, though.
maybe good for practice
Short practice course. No need for driver but if your long and straight its easy. Tee boxes are nothing. Rough to fairways is very bumpy so strap your bag in and cover beverages. Fairways are narrow(less mowing) and greens are mostly flat and just ok. probably the best part of the course. Strange layout with trees in the way forcing layups for average player and in the way of tee shots and even in front of the 18 green. Literally in front of the green.
Straightforward
There was some sort of school or camp outing the day I was there, I played the first two holes quickly however I waited near 20 minutes to tee off on the third hole. Luckily after that hole they left the course. Bummed they weren't running their lunchtime deal, however for the price you can't complain. Some holes were quite easy, some more challenging, and rest in the middle. Te front is pretty open and the back a little more lined with trees. I enjoyed the smaller green as it actually made you play them, made you use skill. Overall I enjoyed my round and would go back.
Hurry up and wait
18 holes took about 5 hours. When you finished a hole, you'd have to wait 3-5 minutes to tee off again. It was really unenjoyable. I went to this course with the intent of working on a few parts of my game at a causal pace, but as soon as you hit your tee shot you had to hurry to finish the hole because another group was waiting to tee up. It was hard to get into a rhythm, and stay loose. Not sure what the problem was, but I won't be going back.
stormy creek
Stormy creek is a typical city course with a pretty standard layout, holes close together and tight. There were some interesting holes and some of the greens and fairways were a bit on therugged side, but nothing unplayable. All in all, great value with a hot deal.
Stormy creek
Older gentlemen in the office didn't seem like he wanted to be there and was very unenthusiastic. I don't get to play golf as much as I would like and would expect a course to be welcoming. Tee boxes and fairways didn't have many yardage markers. I won't visit this course again.
Great Family Course
Great course for taking the family out; or learning to golf. Several of the back nine holes are only for experienced golfers; but great deal/value! Always friendly staff.
For the price great game
There are no bathrooms excluding the club house. The course what fine.
New owner
Looks like the course is under new management. Improvements are being made it seems.
Stormy creek
Very easy very short great for people learning how to golf. I wouldn't play in a busy day fairways are way to close together. I will definitely be back great deals through golfnow
Nice but wet
The course was fairly clear of leaves given that we played in early November. The greens were quite fast, which was a surprise. The rest of the course was very wet. Given drier conditions I would gladly play here again.
stormy creek
great rates,nice cozy course
The course has good features
Very good course with reasonable rates
for the price this course was good to get so practice on my golf swing.
Course was a good practice course.no wait time to get on.
Very player friendly.
Not a difficult course... Fun to play. Great value!
Wide open spaces
This course is PERFECT for a beginner. I played the front 9 which is very straight and VERY open and short. Hardly an trees or traps. Three par-3's on the front 9, less than 150 yards from the whites. The greens follow suit, flat and not challenging. Twilight price of 15$ for 9 and a cart was reasonable. The course is well maintained and the staff is friendly, by staff I mean the teenage kid who runs the pro-shop. He was definitely overwhelmed when it got busy... not his fault, he should have had help. For a Monday night where you want to get some good easy practice in, this course is perfect
Great Local Course
First time we played the course. It is well maintained and in great condition. Front nine is very open, while the back nine has water along and near most of the holes. Really enjoyed the course.
money's worth
This is a great course for the money, would recommend.
