Rouge Park Golf Course shares a name with the Rouge River, which runs through the entire course. The course offers scenic views and a challenging game. The golf course was built on sloping, hilly terrain and it is well known in the area for its wide fairways. The river flowing through the course forms water hazards that come into play on six holes. There are also sand bunkers situated throughout. The 11th hole is notably difficult and considered by many locals to be one of the most difficult holes in metro Detroit.
