Detroit Golf Club's North Course is one of two 18-hole courses the club offers, the other naturally being the South Course. The North Course is the original course at the club and it is more demanding than the South Course due to its greater length and undulation. The small, fast greens are protected by bunkers and the narrow fairways are accented with thick cuts of rough as well as trees. Water comes into play only once on the golf course. In addition to the two courses, the Detroit Golf Club also offers a putting green and chipping area.
