Golf Now Value
Course was in good shape and it was an enjoyable round. Golf Now rate made it a much better value!!
New owners
Better place to play since the new owners took over :)
Challenging
The fairways were in decent shape but most of the tee boxes were not.some of the fairways are narrow and losing a ball is easy. The car paths were not very good and it was difficult finding some holes. There are no bunkers and no water hazards. It is a fun course and a good deal for the money.I bought my tee time from Groupgolfer and we don’t mind the long drive because Frankenmuth is close by and a good place to catch a meal.
A little rough...
Not quite sure where to start with this one. The tee boxes and fairways were really overgrown. The greens were in bad shape and the pace of play was really slow. There were two groups ahead of me playing painfully slow as well. I have played a lot of golf this season in IN, MI and OH and this trip unfortunately was at the bottom of the list for me.
With all of Any day golfing is still a good day!
Green Acres Jungle
course was in good shape do to generous rain amounts of late. The greens did receive the ball well, but usually they are very firm and hard to hold, they do not reward a good wedge in more often then not. Some of the fairways in front of the tee boxes are be coming very narrow due to mature tree growth and lack of trimming.
We had a great day at Green Acres. The greens were rolling well and holding the approach shots too.
Enjoyed the course as it played tough but fair. Make sure you have some mosquito repellant and hit the center of the greens.
Great place to play
The course was very well maintained. The staff and other golfers were very courteous. Looking forward to going back.
a good time
the course was a little wet but no fault to them we have I had a lotta rain in this area it is a great small town course I recommend it have to drive the ball straight lots of fun
A lot of dog legged fairways make you have to shape your drive from the tee box.
Love playing this course. My wife went for the first time and she enjoyed it as well
Needs work
This course could be a great course like it was back in the 1960. The management should put some money into the course and not so much into the bar.
This course has holes in the fairway, Bridges that need to be replaced. Tee boxes need to be redone, not a level tee box on the course.
The greens are small and are shaped like the back of a turtle, hard to keep a ball on them.
You can be penalized for your fairway shot because of the tree branches that over hang the fairway.
Green Acres is the place to be!
Everyone there is really cool. Great food specials too. And the golf is good.
"Do you like doglegs? I do, they make a golfer use his brain!"
Wonderful layout, with average course condition. Only 6300 yards in length, but you better hit the ball straight.
