Superior Golf Experience
Have played this course since first established. Tight course. Fav all around area. Dan, Shovian, and Ed are hands on owners. Special people. Know regulars treating us like family. HIGHLY recommend.
Nice course, mismanaged course
The course has a great layout and fun to play during week but the course management is rude, books double tee times...so sometimes you coild be backed up at some holes for an extended time...they are trying to grab all the cash thry can.. The course has no ranger so there can be beginners or rude people who slow up play for every one behind them. I am a member but will not be returning.
Caution..... yet can be rewarding
We have played this course now for over a year...
learning it's quirks will give you a more relaxed round. No two days are alike on this course and that makes it worth coming back to. Staff is above and beyond the call when it comes to attention to detail.
The 19th hole is cozy and inviting and priced quite well.
Quirky
My wife loves this place and I like it a lot. We are ok golfers and the varied holes make it fun to play. The family that owns and runs the course are the friendliest people in the business. We had;nt been there since fall and when I walked in I felt like I was his best customer ever. The comfort level is high, the course has some beautiful views. If you can't hit it straight bring extra balls. The most fun possible for 29.00 and a free meal.
Great Rates! Better People!
There are a few reasons to play this course, and the first two that come to mind are the super friendly staff (mostly family) and the daily specials. The course is very, very hilly, heavily wooded, wet, and tight. Don't stray too far off the fairway or you might be calling for help to find your way back! The layout is interesting, the conditions are usually pretty good, and the pace is OK. Everyone is in carts (you simply cannot walk this course) and the tee sheet is usually pretty full. The course does not appear to have been designed by a golf course architect, although it is listed as such. You really shouldn't have to start off with a dogleg left, downhill, trouble right and left, with a blind second shot par 5! The second hole is worse--a completely target golf tee shot. After that there are many much better holes, and a few more real oddballs. Having said that it can be fun--as long as you don't take your golf too seriously.
