Designed by LSU alum David Toms and part of the Audubon Golf Trail, Carter Plantation in Springfield is a strong test that provides enjoyment to all levels. Carter Plantation rolls through cypress wetlands, live oak flats and upland pine forests. Both Carter Plantation's front and back nines consist of two par-3 holes, five par 4s and two par 5s. Some 86 strategically placed bunkers challenge golfers at Carter Plantation. The course features a three practice greens, a double-ended driving range and practice bunkers. Carter Plantation is an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for Golf Courses member.
