The 18-hole, private golf course at English Turn Golf and Country Club was designed by the legendary golfer and course designer Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus intended to provide a challenging game of golf and he succeeded. Water hazards come into play on every hole and there are also some large sand and waste bunkers.
The difficulty level is very high and will prove difficult for even advanced golfers. Some famous holes are the 15th, which is a par-5 that requires an approach shot to an island green and the 18th hole, which is a par-4 and has been named the third hardest hole on the PGA Tour. English Turn Golf and Country Club was named the 4th Best in State course in 1998 and 1999.
