Located across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, TPC Louisiana is known for its idyllic rolling hills covered in native wetlands and towering groves of cypress and oak trees. Its tranquil setting among the swamps and bayous of southern Louisiana is deceiving though, this course is not an easy round. There are undulating fairways, fast greens, and more than a hundred bunkers that provide a formidable test for even the most skilled golfers. Five ponds also come into play throughout. The signature hole is the par-5 finishing hole. The designer, Pete Dye, saved the most challenging for last on this hole that has water in play on the entire right side.
