fun course
Fairways & greens in great condition. Hitting fairways a must. Challenging undilated greens; slower than I expected though. Played on cart-path-only day and distance was hard to gauge. Markers were only visible in fairway. 14 handicap and had lotta fun shooting 90.
Excellent test of golf
This is a rather difficult, great test of golf. Must hit fairways and greens! Loved playing here
Great course. Toughest in the area
Have always loved this course. Glad to get back for a round. Greens weren't as fast as they used to be but still very challenging.
For the last ten years or so, they have always put too much water on this course. They need better air flow, not more water. It is done every year in the summer. Hotter it is the more water they put on it to keep it from burning up. Just creates more problems. Course does play easier when it is so soft. Guess I shouldn't complain but I just hate to see the super continue to grow new molds. Say they are going to put in bermuda. Crazy after we see what happen to bermuda courses this year.
Persimmon Ridge
Glad this popped back up on golfnow. One of the best layouts in the Louisville area and a very stern test of golf. I wouldn't recommend this golf course for anyone over a 12 handicap, you won't have a good time. My only complaint is although the greens are beautiful and fast, people need to fix their ball marks more often.
Hidden Gem
Great course, some tough holes as expected. Great facilities..

Very challenging course. Well laid out. Undulating greens galore. Bent grass. Very nice members.
