Nice views around the water
Fairways leave a bit to be desired. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Even walked out to show me the layout of the course as my first trip.
Good course, greens were well maintained. Par 3s we’re great and all had great views! Fastest golf cars I’ve ever ridden at a course! Wish they had logo balls!
In rough shape
Some of the greens were in really bad shape.
A great shot in the middle of the fairway did not mean you would have a good lie.
Hot Deal not to Hot
Advertised 11:50 cost at 31 plus, so I picked that one over the 11:30 time at 38 plus. When I got to the course the total for two of to play would have been 84.00 dollars instead of the 92.00 dollars it cost from GN. HOT DEAL turns out to be not so HOT. I called GN and they said they could not do anything about it. Needless to say I am not pleased with their response.
Could be great, but needs a lot of TLC
The area around the clubhouse is overgrown, not a great first impression. The fairways were mostly crabgrass with weeds everywhere. Even in the fairway, it was nearly impossible for your ball to have a decent lie. Some of the greens were immaculate, and some of the greens had large dead patches of grass/dirt/sand, which made putting through them an unnecessary challenge.
Course layout is great, staff is excellent, the grounds just need an overhaul.
Fun times
We played here for the first time and the course did not disappoint. The greens are very large and in great condition. The fairways have some challenges too. The members and greens keeper were helpful and friendly.
Nice People, Nice course, Great Day
This is a nice course with a good mixture of par 3’s and 4’s. Course was in good shape considering the time of year, and the amount of rain the past couple of days. This is not your course that has millions of dollars to spend. This is a course that gives people that love the game to go and play on a clean area that will challenge your skills no matter what your level of play. I play on courses from Western Missouri to Topeka, Kansas to Wichita and I enjoy this one as much as any. One final note is you can not beat the people you will find on this course and I am one that appreciates their effort!
Poor conditions
The greens where hit and miss between fast and slow/hard and too soft. The fairways, well what fairways it was like hitting out of dirt and rough. Every par 3 was the same distance. Overall 15 dollars was to much for the course cause I can just golf in my backyard.
The course has promise.
This could be a great course. I had concerns with finding a decent lie in the fairways. There were many "bald" areas where you couldn't get a decent lie and the grass was of a thin bladed variety. The score card could use a update to direct golfers from tee to green.
Course gets worse every time out
Greens are bad, huge craters, mud fringe, cart paths are almost undrivable. New driving range is amazing tho!
